Heads up Osgoode! The Competition Law Society (TCLS) is hosting an exciting contest after reading week! We will be calling for short submissions––it can literally be as short as a Facebook post––about a hot competition related issue that you have come across!
What kind of issues would be considered relevant to competition law, you might ask?
Here are some examples of topics that you might find an interesting piece about:
- Was there a product labeling scandal that resulted in recall or lawsuit?
- How about an ad that was taken down for “some” reason?
- What about false advertisement of a product’s functionality?
- Can you find an example of a company’s price fixing?
- Have there been any recent company mergers?
Keep an eye out! These are some topics that you can look into. Find an example, attach a link to the article, or image that relates to your submission and email it to competition.osgoode@gmail.com.
Win fantastic prizes! Competition opening and deadline will be released in the near future. More details soon to come, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, follow us at “The Competition Law Society – Osgoode” on Facebook!
