Trudeau Accused of Seeking Foreign Election Interference

T

New accusations arose this week against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau regarding recent attempts to restore his image. It is alleged that Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada coordinated with a foreign government in an attempt to de-escalate Trudeau’s blackface scandal.

An unnamed source in the Prime Minister’s Office leaked communications that took place between Trudeau and President of the United States Donald Trump in the days prior to Trump’s latest scandal. These communications indicate that the release of telephone transcripts between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was done in an attempt to distract the media from the Canadian Prime Minister’s own misfortunes. In these calls, Trudeau referred to his problem with the “biased, bad media” as one that President Trump could relate to. Trump was more than happy to help out a fellow world-leader and promised he would put his “best guy Rudy Giuliani” on it. It is believed that Giuliani, current attorney for Trump, was happy to let slip that the Trump administration was attempting to get damaging information on Joe Biden from Ukrainian officials.

Trump’s leaked telephone call has been considered as sufficient evidence to ignite a Congressional impeachment investigation, but White House officials are not worried. “If people really cared about President Trump’s words or conduct, he never would have been elected,” one staff member claimed. “This is just free press.”

Indeed, the Trump administration has dealt with numerous scandals in the three years since Trump was elected into office, and his polling numbers are as strong as ever. The Trump strategy of “all press is good press” appears to have been successful in getting Trump into office, and may result in his reelection next November.

In addition to strategically drawing suspicion on Democratic candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden, an added benefit to the Trump campaign exists in assisting Trudeau’s attempt to stay in office. After the successful renegotiations of the North America Free Trade Agreement (for the Americans, at least), Trump’s upcoming election campaign would benefit from Trudeau remaining in office.

It is currently unknown what legal implications exist for Trudeau, and little information has been released, as this is an ongoing RCMP investigation. But the [Canadian] whistleblower remains adamant that this is a case of unjust interference in the Canadian federal election. “The timing is just too coincidental. [The Liberal Party] knows that public memory lasts for one or two media cycles. SNC-what? Jody Wilson-who? Everyone forgot about that when Trudeau revealed his blackface addiction, and now they will forget about this.”

When confronted by reporters at a recent press conference, Trudeau denied any allegations and announced that the most pertinent issue of this campaign should be “Canadians’ access to camping” before promptly paddling away in his canoe.

No other Liberal Party officials could be reached for comment.
